Master Programs
UNYP offers two US accredited Master Programs in co-operation with LaSalle University and one UK accredited LL.M. Program in co-operation with the University of Greenwich. The programs attract aspiring professionals who want to pursue specialized high quality international education in Prague, leading to well recognized accredited US or UK Master degrees.
M.A. in Professional and Business Communication
The Master’s degree program in Professional and Business Communication provides students with the fundamental skills expected of advanced professionals, including writing, speaking, and applied research methods. The program develops student ability to strategically manage the complexities of communication in today’s world through applied communication theory and courses in Public Relations Campaigns, Persuasion, Conflict Resolution, Crisis Communication, Integrated Marketing Communication, and more. Our professors literally wrote the book on blending theory and practice (Marianne Dainton and Elaine D. Zelley, Applying Communication Theory for Professional Life: A Practical Introduction. Thousand Oaks, CA: Sage, 2005), and bring their experiences to bear in courses that give students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills.
M.A. in Clinical- Counseling Psychology
The M.A. program in Psychological Counseling now offered at the University of New York in Prague in cooperation with La Salle University, is an intensive program of studies with a concentration in Psychological Counseling.
The program stresses skill training and clinical preparation and is designed to thoroughly equip students with the necessary knowledge to be effective professionals in the realm of mental health care
LL.M in International and Commercial Law
The Masters in International and Commercial Law is offered in cooperation with The University of Greenwich (UK). With the growing importance of world trade and the global community, lawyers are expected to look beyond national jurisdictions and understand issues of public international law and international commercial law. The program focuses on the law and legal framework governing the international community, as well as various legal issues surrounding international trade and global markets. Legal employers now place a high premium on graduates with international commercial law skills.
