Research

The University of New York in Prague has been steadily growing the development of Research among its faculty in all Academic Departments. An established Research Budget in 2009 has been pivotal in establishing a strong support for Research across all Departments and for accelerating the research output of the Institution. Our faculty have been very active in conducting significant research work and producing publications both within the Czech Republic and abroad. Research output has been diverse covering scientific journal publications, research conference publications, book publishing, book chapters contributions, books editing as well as publications in other journals and magazines. Many UNYP faculty have been recognized as leading experts in their respective fields by being interviewed repeatedly in the media or having had their articles published by leading market publications.

Beyond many of our faculty who are already recognized published authors, others are working on research towards their PhDs. UNYP graduate students are also conducting research or supporting faculty with their research work. As part of their degree programs, all students are required to submit a final research project on completion of their course. This is particularly relevant to the Masters Programs, and normally takes the form of a consultancy project.
