Art Exhibition

The 18th UNYP exhibition was held on Monday 11th January 2010, at Legerova 72. The UNYP general manager Sotiris Foutsis opened the exhibition, and the family atmosphere was enhanced by a generous supply of refreshments. UNYP faculty, staff, students and their guests enjoyed the creativity of the Introduction to Drawing and Design class taught by Natasha Sutta, which showed a basic understanding of line, tone, colour, composition, web page design, as well as exploring deeper social issues. Students will have and opportunity to build on these skills in the summer class Introduction to Painting also taught by Natasha Sutta. Once again faculty and staff expressed a desire for the students’ drawings to be hung in their offices, so a selection of the students’ work will be added to the permanent display in classrooms and offices around the Legerova 72 building.
