Fulbright Scholar's Views on Prejudice at pULSe

Visiting Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Allan Fenigstein, from Kenyon College, Ohio USA, gave a facinating talk on his views concerning the applicability of Milgrim's famous work on obedience in explaining genocides such as the Holocaust. His arguments for the application Social Identity theory instead generated great interest and discussion in the audience full of students and faculty in both Psychology and Sociology. Dr. Fenigstein's work is sure to break new ground in understanding the motivation behind prejudice.
