Report from Mladá fronta DNES daily notes UNYP grads have lowest unemployment levels
A news report from the nation-wide daily newspaper, Mladá fronta DNES, published on 27 January 2010 notes that UNYP graduates have one of the lowest levels of unemployment in the country. The article produced by the Centre for Employment Policy at Charles University’s Pedagogical Faculty notes that over the past seven years the number of university graduates has more than doubled in the Czech Republic. And with the current economic crisis, jobs are fewer and farther between. However, according to the article, unemployment among graduates of private schools, such as UNYP, has fallen for the second consecutive year. The paper’s rankings point out that of 35 UNYP graduates from the 2009 academic year, none were listed as unemployed. The ranking also indicates a year-on-year improvement in UNYP’s figures.
