International Student Office

University of New York in Prague is a school of diversity and many nationalities. The International Student Office is here to help all international students settle in Prague. There is a substantial amount of paper work and documents that are required to go complete the visa process. This is a very problematic process, and we are here to help you. We will walk you through the entire procedure and make sure that everything goes smoothly. The International Student Office is not only helpful in the visa procedure but just about anything else that you can think off. If you have any questions, then we will try to assist you.

We assist in various areas;

·        Obtaining an international student identification card (ISIC)

·        Obtaining international medical-health insurance

·        Accommodation

·        Finding Czech courses, or a Czech speaker that could help you

·        Visa Process/Renewal

·        Provide maps/directions where everything is

As an international student, you will spend a lot of time dealing with visa and residence permit issues.

Note: Your first visit for visa registration will be to the Olsanska Headquarters no matter what part of Prague you reside in.

Directions: Take Tram 11,10,16 from I.P. Pavlova to Zelivskeho. From there take Tram 26 to Olsanska.

Department 4 (Oddeleni pobytu cizincu Praha IV)

Directions:

Take I.P. Pavlova Metro- (Red Line “C”) to Florenc Metro. Exit the Florenc Metro and take bus or 133 to the stop Cerninova. Alternate Route- Take Tram 11 from I.P. Pavlova to Flora. From Flora, take bus 136 to Cerninova. From Cerninova, walk straight till you reach the foreign police.

Department 3 (Oddeleni pobytu cizincu Praha III)

(Foreigners with residence in Praha 2, Praha 4, Praha 5 and Praha 10)

Opening Hours: Mon, Wed:8:00-17:00, Tue, Thu:8:00-15:00, Fri:8:00-12:00

Directions:

Take I.P. Pavlova Metro- (Red Line “C”) to Chodov Metro. Walk out of the metro station and take bus 136 or 154 to Na Jelenach. Go back from where the bus came and to the right you should see the Foreign Police.
