Masters Programs

An MBA with it's business focus is not an attractive option for everyone. Although an MBA is ideal for General Management development, there are other options better suited to individual aspects and alternative disciplines. Subjects that are not directly business focused. This is where alternative Masters Programs come into their own.

MA in Professional Communications and Public Relations

One of the most widely accepted and versatile is the Masters in Professional Communications and Public Relations. UNYP offers an MA PCPR from LaSalle University. LaSalle is a highly ranked University, which makes this a very respected MA program world-wide. This specialisation gives holders a very wide choice of career options, including business. As communication has become one of the key aspects of success in all walks of life, it is not surprising that the majority of institutions look for people who can develop effective communications. Of course it does not cover the business aspects found on an MBA, but that is a good thing. The two go together in real life, each complementing the other. This discipline is also more attractive to people who don’t have a strong mathematics or statistical background.

MA in Clinical-Counseling Psychology

The M.A. program in Clinical-Counseling Psychology now offered at the University of New York in Prague in cooperation with La Salle University, is an intensive program of studies with a concentration in Psychological Counseling.

The program stresses skill training and clinical preparation and is designed to thoroughly equip students with the necessary knowledge to be effective professionals in the realm of mental health care

LLM in International and Commercial Law

The Masters in International and Commercial Law is offered in cooperation with The University of Greenwich (UK). With the growing importance of world trade and the global community, lawyers are expected to look beyond national jurisdictions and understand issues of public international law and international commercial law. The program focuses on the law and legal framework governing the international community, as well as various legal issues surrounding international trade and global markets. Legal employers now place a high premium on graduates with international commercial law skills.
