Psychological society
To get more involved in professional as well as leisure activities, psychology students have gotten together to form their own Psychological Society.
Several students have volunteered with a local non-profit agency, Baobab, which helps young adults suffering from schizophrenia to integrate back into society. Students will assist in various activities from hiking and team-sports events to aerobic and tai-chi classes. And be sure they will help the participants to practice their English as well.
Also, the club serves as means to better organize students' travel to conferences. Our students have already become regular participants at a series of conferences in London on Neuro-psychoanalysis thanks to Professor Dodds, who organized the first event and helped students apply for bursaries to help cover their expenses.
In addition, our club is looking to become more active in student organizations such as the Czech Association of Psychology Students (CASP) and the European Federation of Psychology Students' Associations (EFPSA).
