TED is a nonprofit initiative that focuses on sharing inspiring ideas and stories, usually in the form of short talks. The main TED conference is held annually in Vancouver, with other events taking place throughout the year across North America, Europe and Asia.

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “Ideas Worth Spreading”, and provides support for independent organizers around the world to create their own events.

The University of New York in Prague and the UNYP Student Council are bringing this high-profile event to UNYP on Saturday, November 7th. TEDxUNYP is an event that brings bright minds together to give idea-focused talks on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter.
