Dr. Emilija Tudzarovska holds the position of Head of Research of School of International Relations. She is also a Research Fellow at the Institute of Sociology, Czech Academy of Sciences and University Lecturer in Contemporary European Politics at Charles University, Prague. She holds PhD degree in Public and Social Policy obtained as a Marie Currie Fellow under the Horizon 2020 program, PLATO (2017-2022) – a network of nine European leading universities and European thinks tanks, which investigated the democratic legitimacy of the EU. She holds MA in International Politics and MSc in Educational Management. She is ongoing collaborator and member of ECPR groups, UACES, IPSA etc. She has been awarded with few renowned research fellowships (2007, 2013, 2020) by MSCA and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. She has also completed number of research visits abroad, including at the ARENA Center for European Studies, University of Oslo, ECAS in Brussels, British Academy in London etc.
Dr. Emilija Tudzarovska has also extensive practical experience gained by working in international organizations since 2007, including the British Embassy in Skopje (FCO), Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Germany and she is an expert member of the Global Initiative Network of experts against organized crime, headquartered in Geneva. She is a former member of the SEE Southeast European Leadership for Development and Integrity (SELDI) and former Board Member of the Political Magazine “Political Thought”. She is publishing in per-reviewed journals and the latest publication appears in the the Routledge edition, Legitimacy Recovered? The Politics of Legitimation in the European Union (2021) edited by Lord, C. Bursens, P., Bièvre, D. and Wessel, R. Central European Public Administration Review (2020) and elsewhere. She also regularly writes op-eds for Social Europe, European Western Balkans and other media.
