Hon. Dr. Nona Ricafort, Deputy Minister of Education in Philippines visiting New York College, Athens

New York College invited Dr. Nona Ricafort, Deputy Minister of Education in Philippines to discuss on an agenda of cooperative projects including the offering of a number of educational programs in Philippines and the neigbouring countries.

On January 8th, Mr. Elias Foutsis, President of NYC Educational Group  hosted a dinner in the honour of Hon. Dr. Nona Ricafort, with the  presence of H.E. Ambassador of Philippines in Athens, Mr. Meynardo LB  Montealegre and a team of NYC colleagues and friends, Dr. Yiannis Lyras,  Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Andreas Antonopoulos, Rector of University of  New York in Prague and Mr. Yiannis Trepekli, Mayor of the Island of  Corfu.

The President of UNYP and NYC Educational Group, Mr. Elias Foutsis and the Rector of UNYP, Dr. Andreas Antonopoulos have held several meetings with the Hon. Dr. Nona Ricafort, Deputy Minister of Education in Philippines, at the New York College campus in Athens Greece on January 9^th  and 10^th. During these meetings they discussed the opportunities available for a number of academic co-operation projects with Universities in the Philippines as well as the possibility of offering international educational programs in the Philippines and the neighboring countries.
