Become an exchange student and study abroad all over the world

Most students who study abroad will tell you that a semester in another country was one of the best decisions they ever made during their time at university. Not only does studying abroad help your educational experience, it also means you’ll be seeing beautiful new places and meeting new friends from all over the world!

University of New York in Prague has partnerships with colleges across four continents and offers programs for summer, a semester, or a year. You can satisfy some of your core general education requirements or study something more particular to your major. You can study close to Prague, in Germany, France, or Spain. Or you can study farther away, in China or the United States for example.

In addition to our regular exchange partners, we also partner with several universities that offer dual degrees. For instance, you could obtain a dual degree from UNYP and the Bangkok School of Management in Thailand or the Paris School of Business. We’re adding new exchange partners all the time, so the options are unlimited.

If you’re undecided about studying abroad, consider our student testimonials. Tereza Dusikova studied Event Management and Design at Taylor’s University in Selangor, subjects that provided the perfect supplement to her Communications and Mass Media degree. Since the majority religion of Malaysia is Islam, Dusikova was worried about possible cultural clashes that could take place during her studies. Once she arrived, she realized her reservations were unfounded. “Selangor, the country’s capital, is such a modern and multicultural city,” she said. “Everyone was so nice and it was easy to get around and understand everyone.”

From January to April 2016, Jakub Slabina studied Communication Arts at Bangkok University. Although the International and Economic Relations major had never set foot in Asia before, Bangkok became an unforgettable experience. The lessons, taught in English, offered an inter-cultural experience unlike any other. “Studying somewhere other than Prague was so helpful,” Slabina said. “The different professors and different perspectives teach you so much about the world.”
