The Czech Republic – the 8th most peaceful country in the world!

This year’s research on the Global Peace Index by the Institute for Economics and Peace showed a severe decline in global peace levels. The Global Peace Index report is a sophisticated analysis of numerous factors that are considered crucial to a country’s stability and security. “The 2020 GPI reveals a world in which the conflicts and crises that emerged in the past decade have begun to abate, only to be replaced with a new wave of tension and uncertainty as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.” The situation that we find ourselves in is genuinely troubling, yet hope remains that the rest of the world will emulate the actions of the governments of the countries that top this list. 

The Czech Republic: a proven safe destination for Study Abroad students
