“Game Night” by UNYP Psychology Club

On the 4th of March, the UNYP Psychology Club organized “Game Night”!

The purpose of the event was to get students together, connect them through playing a game, as well as enrich their knowledge in psychology by getting them thinking about terms related to psychology in some way.

The participants were divided into 4 groups and were supposed to throw the dice. Depending on what the dice show, they would need to either show, explain or draw the term in an attempt to explain it to the rest of their team. The team that guessed the highest number of words was announced the winner team at the end and given a prize of “1000 Euros” (more details in the pictures :-)).

The fact that the event was more of a charade format made it rather enjoyable, as opposed to some burdensome and challenging quiz. Indeed a number of students were able to learn something new. The officers of the Psychology Club were there to help students (especially freshman and the students of majors unrelated to psychology) whenever they came across unfamiliar terminology.

Overall the event had a challenging yet relaxed, competitive yet supportive atmosphere, accompanied by refreshments and an after party.
