October PULSE lecture with special guest Dr. Max Hilaire: Is America a post-racial society?

Join acclaimed scholar and guest lecturer Dr. Max Hilaire as he examines the continuing struggle for civil rights in the United States.

We are extremely pleased to announce that October’s PULSE lecture will be delivered by two-time Fulbright Scholar Dr. Max Hilaire, who will be examining civil rights issues in the US. Dr. Hilaire is an expert in UN International Law and US Foreign Policy, as well as being an acclaimed author and chair of Morgan State University’s Political Science Department.  

Dr. Hilaire will also be signing copies of his fourth and latest book, Waging Peace, in which he explores the UN Security Council’s role in responding to transnational conflicts. 

Dr. Hilaire’s lecture will take place in room 204, at 3pm on October 13th, we expect this to be a very popular event and advise students to arrive early to ensure they don’t miss out.
