UNYP Career Day 2015

The annual CAREER DAY held at UNYP on Thursday 16 April, 2015 was traditionally a great opportunity for our students and recent graduates to explore current entry-level job vacancies and internships and find out how to apply for open positions. The event is organized regularly not only to support our students to gain experience and network with employers, but also to make it possible for companies to approach suitable candidates for their job and internship placements, trainee programs, etc. 

Many students who attend the Career Day get employed by the very same companies that participate. Also, the students can talk to some of the UNYP graduates who take part and offer job placements on behalf of the companies they represent.

Besides individual meetings with the representatives of ten companies in Auditorium, a number of students took part in workshops and lectures which were held in parallel in Classroom 002 on the same day. Also, many students took advantage of the opportunity to have their professional photo made for their CVs, a service offered by UNIJOBS, one of this year’s participants.

Once again, we would like to thank the representatives of all the companies that participated this year: AB INBEV, AIESEC PRAGUE, CZECH-US, DELOITTE, EXXONMOBIL, HEWLETT PACKARD HUB, CHEP, INTEGRATION CENTRE PRAGUE, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COUNCIL, NOVARTIS, PROFONTES, PROCHAZKA & PARTNERS and UNIJOBS.  

The Career Office received numerous positive comments regarding the organization of the event from the companies as well as from the students and graduates who attended this year´s Career Day. Many employers highly valued their meetings with the students and confirmed their interest in enhancing their cooperation with UNYP for next academic year. Once again, we would like to thank all for their contribution to a very successful event!
