The UNYP Psychology Department hosted a pULSe lecture by Dr. W. Alexandre Kamnerdsiri, MD, Dip Mil Med, MS (War Psychiatry), PhDc (Psychopathology).  Dr Kamnerdsiri originates from Thailand, but served several years in the Greek army where he earned his medical degree and now he resides in France.  He is a renowned expert on Military Psychiatry and Psychology, consulting for armed services around the world including the US Military, with a focus on PTSD, sexual aggression and sexual health.  His talk focused on the transition from civilian to military life,  physical and moral stress factors in military environment and their consequences, and the function of military psychologist.  Students and guests from the community found it to be an interesting look inside this unique area of psychology.
