Young People and Involvement in the Politics of the 21st Century

On November 20th the third PULSE lecture took place. In this occasion the guest speaker was Juraj Antal, the chairman of European Democrat Students (EDS). EDS is the largest student political organization in Europe, linking more than 1.500.000 students from more than 30 countries. Mr. Antal’s presentation dealt with the problem of political representation and youth apathy and explored the different possibilities that students have to play a larger role in politics in our societies. It was a special pleasure for UNYP to host the lecture of Juraj Antal because he is a graduate of our International and Economic Relations program and he is an excellent example of what UNYP graduates can achieve.
