Lucie Čadová

Class of 2012 – Bachelor in Communication & Mass Media

Lucie graduated in 2012. During her studies at UNYP, Lucie always pursued activities benefitting the majority of students in her capacity as President of the Student Council, and she has taken the same public-spirited approachsince entering professional life. Lucie’s work for EU institutions in the field of communication has enabled her to use livestreams and successful information campaigns to convey relevant information to the general public about the importance of EU membership. Communication and presentation have been integral to Lucie’s professional career, as exemplified by the speeches she has made representing EU communications projects at international conferences. Nevertheless, Lucie has never detached herself from her roots in the UNYP community, and has been invited to the university as a guest speaker. She plans to be involved even more often in the future, both to promote EU traineeships (she is a mentor and advisor of EU trainees) and to foster a full awareness of the way in which EU institutions operate. During the pandemic, Lucie has been organizing an aid program that distributes handmade masks for elderly people in need, while also managing crisis communication and workplace well-being projects for around 900 employees.

Andrea Šándorová

She aspires to continue being an active and engaged member of the UNYP community.
