For most of his business career, Petr has been involved in the management of international businesses, generally as a CFO or CEO in the insurance, travel and services, and financial investments sectors.

For over 15 years, Petr has provided management advisory services within the “Big 4” professional firms, including Deloitte and KPMG. His experience includes complex company business process reengineering linked to strategy, process redesign, design of organizational structure, financial management and controlling, treasury and cash flow management, performance management based on Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and Value Based Management (VBM) approaches, system solutions for performance management framework, linking performance management with motivation schemes, corporate risk and control management, energy transacting risk management, regulatory accounting in utilities, energy market structure design and energy consumption prediction. He was responsible for leading numerous international strategic management projects within the regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Scandinavia and Africa.
Petr has provided advisory services in areas that include media, banking and insurance, energy and gas, and metallurgical products trading.
Over the last 20 years he has facilitated corporate management courses around Europe, lectured at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, USA and the Prague universities Charles University, Czech Technical University and the University of New York in Prague, and presented at numerous conferences.
