Rocío Vila Falcón

Rocío Vila Falcón was born in Madrid, Spain. She obtained her BA degree in Translation and Interpretation in French, English and Italian at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and then a Master degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at Menendez Pelayo, the International University of Santander together with the Instituto Cervantes.

She spent one academic year at the Instituto Cervantes in Moscow and since 2009 she works at the Instituto Cervantes in Prague as a Spanish teacher, an official DELE (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) examiner and a teacher at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In order to continue her professional development, she has participated in several teachers‘ training conferences related to her interests and has given lectures concerning cognitive linguistics and the theory of multiple intelligencies.
