Rocío Vila Falcón

Rocío Vila Falcón was born in Madrid, Spain. She obtained her BA degree in Translation and Interpreting at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and then a Master degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at Menendez Pelayo, the International University of Santander together with the Instituto Cervantes.

She spent one academic year at the Instituto Cervantes in Moscow and since 2009 she works at the Instituto Cervantes in Prague as a Spanish teacher, an official DELE examiner (official Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) and a teacher at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She takes part in the preparation and revision of the Maturita examination by cooperating with CERMAT. In order to continue her professional development, she regularly attends teachers‘ training conferences to be always up-to-date and gives lectures regarding cognitive linguistics, learning styles and classroom dynamics.
