Our vision has always been to provide high-quality IT services that build on modern high-tech equipment, latest software, and a highly responsive Help Desk with individual approach.

Computer and Printing Facilities

UNYP students can use more than 75 computerslocated in two PC labs and in the Library. All computers run on the latest Microsoft Wndows and Office software and on business-level Dell hardware. The library itself provides enough workstations dedicated for the individual work of our students and a high-performance print/copy center.

Wi-Fi and Internet

UNYP has a strong Wi-Fi network covering all classroom and campus spaces with the modern 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) standard connection. Each classroom has a dedicated access point to ensure maximum stability. The UNYP campus wifi is a single, simple-to-use network so that any student can connect within seconds and stay connected while roaming the campus buildings.

E-learning

Our E-learning is based on the world-wide standard Moodle LMS platform and it is the center of all student learning and academic progress. It provides all the necessary features for effective student-teacher communication, access to individual course materials, course discussion boards, assignments, online tests etc. It also integrates with a powerful antiplagiarism solution by Turnitin.com. Students also have all their attendance records and grades here in one place.

Microsoft 365

UNYP provides students with a very powerful and complex online platform covering all the communication and collaboration needs. Students use the standard Outlook app for email, they get a huge 1TB online storage with OneDrive, they can collaborate in MS Teams or Sharepoint or use some business oriented apps for project management.

Moreover, all UNYP students are eligible to download and install MS Office package on their computers for free and use it for the full duration of their studies!

High-tech Online/Hybrid Classes

UNYP has extensively invested into professional video conferencing equipment in classrooms to deliver high-quality remote or hybrid (mixed) classes. We use the top solutions on the market:

• Zoom videoconferencing software with professional accounts for all faculty
• High-end conferencing cameras from Logitech with a special audio setup
• Moodle as a world-wide standard platform for e-learning
• MS Office 365 and MS Teams cloud platforms
