Accreditation Register

The University of New York in Prague (UNYP) operates as a fully recognized and accredited higher education institution offering Czech- and internationally accredited degree programs taught in English. Founded in 1998 and operating under Czech law, UNYP holds official recognition from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and appears in national registries of accredited higher education institutions and study programs. In addition to national recognition, respected international bodies—including the British Accreditation Council (BAC) and the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE)—accredit UNYP’s programs and institutional quality. Together, these accreditations confirm that UNYP delivers quality-assured, internationally competitive degrees as an officially recognized Czech higher education institution.

Foreign study program registration/approval

The Czech Ministry of Education has officially registered UNYP as a domestic provider of degree programs offered in cooperation with the State University of New York, Empire State University (USA), the University of Bolton (UK), and Dublin Business School (Ireland). UNYP delivers these programs as an officially recognized Czech higher education institution.

The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) has accredited UNYP’s MBA program and its three-year Bachelor of Business Administration program. The U.S.-based Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) recognizes IACBE as a programmatic accrediting organization.
