Harriet Jayne Toop

BSc Psychology, University of Glasgow, UK MSc Human Cognitive Neuropsychology, University of Edinburgh, UK Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy), University of Exeter, UK Dr Harriet Toop completed her training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Exeter, UK. As a Clinical Psychologist, she has worked in a variety of NHS services and specialises in working with adults in the later stages of life. This has included the provision of psychological assessment, formulation and treatment for mental health difficulties, as well as neuropsychological assessment and psychosocial interventions for individuals presenting with symptoms of dementia.  In addition to direct work with patients, Harriet enjoys providing supervision to trainee practitioner psychologists and has worked with staff teams to deliver training and formulation sessions on dementia care. As a lecturer at UNYP, she encourages students to reflect on the clinical applications of theory and research that underpin the field of psychology.
