At UNYP, we’re inspired and driven by our students. We listen to what they need, and we build opportunities that help them grow, gain confidence, and take the next step. Bringing DEMOLA to UNYP is one more way we put that into practice.
DEMOLA is an international program where UNYP students work in teams on real challenges from real organizations. Students go through a guided process, they explore a problem, do research, develop ideas, test what works, and present their results. Throughout the program, students are supported by trained facilitators, so they always have structure and guidance.
For many students, the hardest part of getting started is finding that first solid experience. DEMOLA helps with exactly that. It gives students a real project they can include on their CV and speak confidently in interviews. Just as importantly, it helps students figure things out. Instead of trying to choose a career direction based on guesswork, they get to try a project that feels closer to real work and learn what they enjoy, what they’re good at, and how they work best.

Students also build skills that matter in any career, such as teamwork, communication, adaptability, and resilience when ideas need to change. And because DEMOLA teams are naturally diverse, students gain experience working with different perspectives, which is a big part of most modern workplaces.
DEMOLA is not just another university project. It’s a student-focused experience that helps UNYP students connect what they learn to the real world, with support along the way.
