More Than a Job Fair: UNYP CareerXpo 2025

On May 21, 2025, UNYP hosted CareerXpo 2025—a three-day career experience designed to help students take confident next steps toward internships, part-time roles, graduate roles, and long-term career paths.

CareerXpo isn’t only about job offers. It’s about building clarity and momentum: asking better questions, understanding the job market, and developing the mindset and skills that employers value.

A Movement, Not Just an Event

CareerXpo 2025 was built as more than a single career day. Over three days, students joined expert-led talks, trend-focused sessions, and interactive workshops to understand Prague’s changing job market and where they fit within it.

Inspiration, Insight, And Industry Know-How

The first two days featured sessions led by eight organizations: Prague Integration, SAP, GoodCall/Recruitment Academy, AB InBev, EXPATLEGAL, Adecco, Hays, and Johnson & Johnson. Speakers shared practical perspectives across fields including business, tech, and psychology—connecting classroom learning to real career realities.

Key themes included AI, global and industry trends, and digital transformation—but the strongest takeaway was future readiness: change is constant, and skills like emotional intelligence, adaptability, critical thinking, and digital fluency matter more than ever.

One standout session focused on Czech immigration law, providing students with clearer guidance on legal pathways for working and living abroad.

Real Tools For Real Careers

CareerXpo also delivered hands-on support that students could use immediately. Workshops focused on CV writing, self-presentation, and how to approach ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems)—with many students returning to refine their materials and ask follow-up questions.

The Grand Finale: A Job Fair With Purpose

CareerXpo 2025 concluded with a high-energy Job Fair featuring 18 companies—double the number from the previous year—including some employers who travelled from Slovakia. Students used the event to explore internships, graduate roles, part-time positions, and longer-term opportunities while building real connections with recruiters and employers.
