UNYP Hosts Paris Students for Learning Expedition in Innovation and AI

During the week of March 16, the University of New York in Prague (UNYP) welcomed 75 students from the Paris School of Technology & Business (PSTB) as part of their annual Learning Expedition—an immersive international study program designed to connect academic learning with real-world innovation.

Immersive Learning Through International Collaboration

Each year, PSTB organizes this initiative to provide students with direct exposure to dynamic business environments through meetings with companies, startups, and industry experts. The program is designed to deepen students’ understanding of global innovation ecosystems while strengthening their practical knowledge and professional outlook.

Exploring Innovation, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence

This year’s Learning Expedition focused on Innovation, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence—key forces shaping today’s global economy. The academic component of the program was led by Stefano Cavagnetto and Dana Hague, who guided students through core concepts and facilitated discussions around these rapidly evolving fields.

Industry Experts Share Real-World Insights

As part of the Prague program, UNYP welcomed distinguished industry professionals to complement the academic experience. Adam Hanka, a data science leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data, shared his expertise on building and managing high-performing teams.

He was joined by Martina Vošková, Venture Lead at Creative Dock, whose work focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, venture design, and corporate innovation. Together, they provided students with practical insights into how AI and innovation are applied in real-world business contexts.
