UNYP reaches another milestone! All American programs registered with MŠMT.

UNYP is pleased to announce that the Czech Ministry of Education has formally granted permission to UNYP to continue to offer the programs of its long-standing American partner universities:

American Bachelor programs approved

In cooperation with State University of New York, Empire State College (USA)

Bachelor’s degree programs in:

• Business Administration
• Communication & Media Studies
• English Language & Literature
• International Relations
• IT Management
• Psychology

American Masters programs also approved 

In cooperation with La Salle University (USA)

• Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication

These are not new programs for UNYP – in fact, UNYP has been offering some of them for over twenty years. However, the recent revision to the Czech higher education law meant that all schools offering foreign (non-EU) university programs had to formally apply for permission, which was granted to UNYP last month.

As a leader in international higher education in Central Europe, UNYP was one of the first institutions to offer full American university degree programs in the Czech Republic taught entirely in English by its international academic staff. With over two thousand alumni of these Prague-based programs now living and working around the world, UNYP looks forward to serving many more students in the decades to come.
