Summer Journeys: UNYP Employees Share Their Travel Plans

As summer reaches its peak, members of the UNYP team are making the most of their holidays. Their plans range from romantic escapes to adventurous road trips and design-focused city breaks.

First, Zuzana from Reception spent a few dreamy days in Venice. Warm weather, charming canals, and a boat trip to the colorful islands of Burano and Murano made it a perfect romantic getaway.

Zuzana’s tip: Visit Burano early in the morning. You will avoid the crowds and catch the best light for photos. It’s a TikTok favorite for a reason.

Meanwhile, Adiya from the Admissions Team fully embraced adventure. She went camping in Branná, rafting through the scenic beauty of Český Krumlov, and exploring the architectural gem of Wrocław.

Adiya’s tip: In Český Krumlov, choose a shorter rafting route. Stop midway at riverside bars to relax and recharge. You can float and sip at the same time—just don’t drop your paddle.

In contrast, Valeria from the Accounting Team opted for a modern city escape. She visited Copenhagen, where clean design, innovative architecture, and cooler weather offered a refreshing break from the summer heat.

Valeria’s tip: Rent a bike and use the Bycyklen app. It’s the easiest way to explore Copenhagen like a local and discover hidden architectural gems.

Finally, Jan from the Marketing Team—who you can spot in the photo—packed in several destinations. His summer included Rome, a lively bachelor party in Amsterdam, and an adrenaline-filled rafting trip near Jablonec.

Jan’s tip: In Rome, skip the long Colosseum lines. Book a guided tour of the underground section instead. It’s cooler, less crowded, and perfect for unforgettable content.
