The Fashion Design Management Concentration is a unique option within UNYP’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program. Students complete the core BBA curriculum while gaining exposure to the business and creative sides of the fashion industry through specialized coursework and an immersive semester in New York City.
Developed in partnership with the New York School of Design (NYSD), the concentration combines business education in Prague with fashion-focused learning and international study experience in Manhattan. Students explore topics related to management, entrepreneurship, branding, and best practices in the fashion industry while developing a strong foundation in business.
Graduates earn a Bachelor of Business Administration from UNYP and a Professional Fashion Design Certificate from NYSD, combining a recognized business degree with specialized industry knowledge and international experience.

Fashion is a global industry, and few cities have influenced it more than New York.
As part of the Fashion Design Management Concentration, students spend an extended semester studying at the New York School of Design in Manhattan. This experience provides exposure to professional design education, industry perspectives, and one of the world’s most dynamic creative environments.
Located in the heart of New York City, NYSD offers students the opportunity to develop practical skills while experiencing the energy, culture, and professional networks that have shaped generations of fashion professionals.
The Fashion Design Management Concentration is designed for students who want to combine a Bachelor of Business Administration education with an understanding of the fashion industry.
While completing the BBA curriculum, students develop knowledge in management, marketing, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and business strategy. Through the partnership with NYSD, they also gain exposure to fashion design principles, product development, creative processes, and industry practice.

Students complete their New York residency during Semester 6 of the program, after completing the majority of their business studies at UNYP.
