Welcoming the New Academic Year

We may already be two weeks into the new academic year, but before we get too far ahead, it’s worth looking back at how it all began.

This September, we welcomed a new group of freshmen to UNYP and to their new home in Prague. Their first days were all about getting to know the university, meeting new people, finding their way around the city, and, of course, having some fun along the way.

From useful workshops and orientation activities to Pancake Days, there were plenty of opportunities for our newest students to connect with their classmates and settle into university life.

One of the highlights was a scavenger hunt through the beautiful centre of Prague, giving students the chance to explore the city, work together, and discover some of the places that will become part of their UNYP experience. And what better way to wrap up the activities than with a BBQ party, bringing everyone together to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the start of a new chapter?

With the academic year now well underway, this is only the beginning. We’re looking forward to many more events, experiences, friendships, and memories being made throughout the year.
