|UNYP is officially recognized by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as a private higher education institution. The Ministry of Education has accredited five of UNYP’s bachelor’s degree programs. Students who complete the Business Administration, Communication & Mass Media, European Business Administration, International Economic Relations and Psychology degree programs will be awarded a bakalář degree (Czech bachelor’s degree) from UNYP. The Ministry of Education has also accredited UNYP’s graduate psychology program as a magister (Mgr.) degree.|
UNYP has been accredited and recognized by the Czech Association of MBA Schools (CAMBAS) since 2003.
UNYP has been accredited as an Independent Higher Education Institution by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education since 2001.
|The examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) are the most widely recognized qualifications in Europe. ACCA recognizes several UNYP undergraduate courses as providing exemptions from some ACCA exams.|

|The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has approved several UNYP programs. This means that United States veterans and their eligible dependents who are interested in the opportunity to study in Europe may use their veterans’ benefits for the four-year bachelor’s degree programs, the MBA programs and the Ph.D. programs.|
SUNY Empire State College
|All of UNYP’s four-year American bachelor’s degree programs lead to the award of an American bachelor’s diploma from SUNY Empire State College. SUNY/ESC is an American university accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the main academic accreditation body for American colleges and universities located in the Middle States region.|
