Jacqueline Dufalla recently joined UNYP and works as a post-doctoral researcher at Metropolitan University. She completed her PhD from Central European University as well as her MA in International Relations and European Studies. She received a MRes at the University of Glasgow in Russian, Central and Eastern European Studies. She focuses on Russian foreign policy, and most recently, has been analyzing Russia as a global challenger. Her latest work shifts attention to Russia as a challenger to the European security framework. She also works on hegemonic theory, and specifically, what constitutes a counter-hegemonic challenger.
