Milan Polák

Mr. Polak currently provides counseling and psychotherapy at his private practice in Prague. He finished his MA in clinical psychology in 2004 at Charles University. He completed his postgraduate training in person-centered psychotherapy and counseling in 2013. He completed his second master’s degree in Philosophy at Charles University in 2024. His research interest is the relationship between psychology, psychotherapy, and philosophy, a topic he would like to pursue in the future. He teaches courses on subjects like the history of psychology, philosophical psychology, and moral psychology. In the past, he lived and worked in the UK, the USA, and the Czech Republic. He worked in health care and psychiatry and provided counseling to international students at Charles University. He is married and has 4 children.
