Mr. Polak currently provides counseling and psychotherapy at his private practice in Prague; his clients include children, adults, and couples. He finished his MA in clinical psychology in 2004 at Charles University. He completed his postgraduate training in person-centered psychotherapy in 2013. Currently, he is studying towards a P.h.D degree in applied ethics at the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University where he also finishing his second master's degree in philosophy. His research interest is the relationship between psychology, psychotherapy, and philosophy a topic he would like to pursue in the future. He teaches courses on subjects like the history of psychology, existential psychology, and philosophical psychology. In the past, he lived and worked in the UK, the USA, and the Czech Republic. He worked in the context of healthcare and psychiatry. He is married and has 4 children.
