Simon Weissenberger is a psychologist, researcher and educator from a bicultural background (Italian-American), with a strong passion for self-knowledge and discovery. His primary focus of reasearch is adult ADHD, the endocannabinoid system and time perception. He is currently coordinating Philip Zimbardo's Heroic Imagination Project in the Czech Republic with the aims of spreading the message of self-improvement and compassion to make the world a better place. He is a strong advocate of existential philosophy, pragmatism combined with the scientific approach to research. Areas of expertise in psychology include social psychology, personality psychology as well as cultural and cross cultural psychology. Some of his passions include nature, art and spiritual practices aimed at elevating human consciousness. His personal goals include expanding liberty, creating every day heroes and encouraging positive deviance to make the world a better place. He encourages critical thinking along with open mindedness, and a pragmatic approach to psychology to make it as useful as possible in real life.
