Václav Chvalovský

Václav Chvalovský would teach Project Management, Business Management and Business Policy and Strategic Management (BPSM) courses both on the undergraduate and graduate programmes at UNYP for more than 2 decades since 2002 until early 2024. Since then, his core course has been the BPSM on the SUNY Empire Programme. Václav received a Postgraduate Degree in Economics/Management from the Czech Academy of Science. He has taught in higher education since 1976, first on the two year tenure at the University of Nairobi in Kenya working first as a senior lecturer and eventually as the Director of the Institute of Computer Science, then at the University of Economics in Prague (part-time). His extensive professional experience includes working as a programmer, IT manager, project manager, sales manager and business development executive in this country as well as in the UK and USA. In addition to teaching, Václav also used to work as a consultant and professional trainer on miscellaneous projects for local companies and multinational corporations. He wrote 5 professional books (IT, management and project management) and has published over 100 professional articles locally and overseas.
