More Than a Job Fair: UNYP CareerXpo 2025

What happens when you bring together ambitious students, top-tier employers, and a campus buzzing with curiosity and drive? You get UNYP CareerXpo 2025, a dynamic three-day experience filled with energy, insight, and inspiration, all aimed at helping students take confident steps toward their future.

But UNYP CareerXpo is more than just name tags and job offers. It’s about unlocking potential, discovering possibilities, and finding the courage to chase them. It’s where questions spark conversations, and where plans begin to take shape. It’s not just where careers start, it’s where the right mindset begins.

A Movement, Not Just an Event

This year, we set out to do more than host a career event; we wanted to ignite a movement. Over three days, students were invited to dive into real-world career conversations through expert-led talks, trend-spotting sessions, and interactive workshops. All of it was designed to help them better understand Prague’s evolving job market and find where they fit in.

Inspiration, Insight, and Industry Know-How

The first two days were packed with insights, strategies, and surprises. Eight incredible companies — Prague Integration, SAP, GoodCall/Recruitment Academy, AB InBev, EXPATLEGAL, Adecco, Hays, and Johnson & Johnson — joined us for a series of impactful sessions. From psychology and business to tech, they shared what it really means to build a career in today’s rapidly changing world.

We tackled big topics: the rise of AI, global trends, digital transformation, but the real focus was on staying agile and building skills that matter. The message was clear: change is constant, and soft skills are the power skills of 2030. Emotional intelligence, adaptability, critical thinking, and digital fluency (combined with a proactive attitude and strong networking) are the ingredients for shaping a successful path forward.

A special highlight? An eye-opening session on Czech immigration law, where students gained clarity on legal pathways for working and living abroad.

Real Tools for Real Careers

No career journey is complete without a strong personal brand. Our hands-on workshops became fast favourites, covering everything from crafting standout CVs to mastering self-presentation and navigating ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems). Many students came back for round two, refining their approach and asking thoughtful questions. It was all about being prepared and being unforgettable.

The Grand Finale: A Job Fair with Purpose

We closed out CareerXpo 2025 with a high-energy Job Fair and it was everything we envisioned. With 18 participating companies (double the number from last year!), including some who travelled from Slovakia, the fair was a true celebration of talent, opportunity, and connection.

Held across two vibrant spaces the fair buzzed from first handshake to final goodbye. Students explored internships, graduate roles, part-time positions, and long-term career options, building genuine connections with employers who truly valued what they had to offer.

Also, a shoutout to our generous partners: AB InBev treated us to Corona 0.0% and Stella Artois 0.0%, and Mondelez went above and beyond with their chocolate Easter bunnies; a sweet touch that students (and staff!) won’t forget.
