Study Abroad Internships in Prague

UNYP’s Internship Programs are part of our Study Abroad experience and are designed for visiting students who want to combine academic study in Prague with hands-on professional experience.

These internships allow Study Abroad students to gain international work experience in Europe, develop practical skills, and explore career paths while living and studying in Prague — one of Europe’s most dynamic capitals.

Please note: These internship programs are not automatically available to all UNYP degree-seeking students. They are specifically structured for students participating in a Study Abroad program at UNYP.

Why Choose a Study Abroad Internship in Prague?

A study abroad internship gives you more than academic credit — it offers real exposure to international workplaces and global perspectives. Through UNYP’s Study Abroad Internship Program, students can:

  • Gain professional experience in an international environment
  • Strengthen their resume with a European internship
  • Build cross-cultural communication and workplace skills
  • Explore career interests while studying abroad

Prague is an ideal location for students seeking an internship in Europe during their study abroad semester, offering opportunities across business, communications, international relations, nonprofits, and more.

Program Structure

UNYP offers internship options that are integrated into the Study Abroad term:

Spring Study Abroad + Internship

Students combine academic coursework with a part-time internship over approximately 10 weeks, typically working up to 16 hours per week while studying.

Summer Study Abroad + Internship

This option includes a short preparatory period followed by a full-time internship lasting approximately 9 weeks. It is designed for students seeking an intensive international internship experience during the summer.

Both options are managed as part of the Study Abroad program structure, including academic oversight and on-site support.
