Leonardo Fiorespino has joined UNYP in 2021 to teach courses in the areas of philosophy, ethics, and politics. Born in Rome, Italy, he holds a Ph.D. in Political Philosophy from University of Rome Tor Vergata, an MSc in Comparative Political Thought from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London), and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Sapienza University of Rome. He published articles in international journals, co-edited three books published in 2020, 2022, and 2025, and authored the book "Radical Democracy and Populism: A Thin Red Line?" (Springer, Cham 2022). He is currently a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on debates on the concept of “the people” in contemporary political theory, populism, normativity in political theory.
