Javier González Lozano teaches Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of New York in Prague (UNYP), Charles University, and the Instituto Cervantes in Prague. He holds a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a PhD in Didactics of Sciences, Languages, Arts and Humanities. His doctoral dissertation was awarded the 2024 ASELE International Research Prize for Doctoral Theses. His research interests include the integration of technology into grammar teaching from a cognitive perspective, critical approaches to language education, and teacher co-creation in the Spanish as a Foreign Language classroom.
