Josef Mana

Josef Mana is a cognitive psychologist whose research focus concerns the psychology of cue contingency learning, followed by research on similarity perception and memory for natural scenes. His work consists primarily of setting up experimental designs and measurement models for basic research questions. Consequently, his expertise lies primarily in cognitive psychology, experimental design, statistical modelling, software writing, and psychometrics. To a lesser degree, his competencies extend to philosophy of science and neuroscience.

His previous research at the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, where he completed his PhD studies in Clinical Neurosciences, aimed at identifying markers of (dis)advantageous cognitive trajectories in people with Parkinson's disease treated by subthalamic deep brain stimulation.
