Lenka Olejníková

Lenka Olejníková, PhD, is a Senior Research Lead at UNYP and coordinates the research activities of the International Relations Section. Her research focuses on gender, security, and evidence-based policy, with particular expertise in sexual and gender-based violence across diverse contexts, including conflict-related sexual violence, child sexual abuse, and domestic violence. Her work has been published in leading international journals, including International Affairs, Trauma, Violence & Abuse, and Child Maltreatment. She also co-authored a chapter in Oxford University Press's Thinking World Politics Otherwise. Prior to joining UNYP, she led and contributed to several major research projects on gender-based violence and child sexual abuse in Australia, including at Childlight, UNSW and the National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse. Her research has informed both state and national violence prevention policies.
