Liam Edwards

Liam Edwards earned his PhD in Global History and Governance from L'Università Federico II in Naples, Italy specializing in the study of U.S. foreign military bases. Originally from the United States, he holds degrees from Hendrix College in Arkansas and the University of Vermont in Burlington. He has conducted academic research at a range of different institutions including Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Northern Ireland, Colombia, and the Czech Republic. His research focuses primarily on 20th century U.S. and global history and the thematic areas of empire, colonialism, infrastructure, and international law.
