Martin Šikýř

Martin Šikýř studied Information Management at the University of Economics in Prague, where he also received his Ph.D. in Business Economics and Management in 2010. From 2006 to 2013, he worked as an assistant and assistant professor at the Department of Personnel Management of the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics in Prague. Then from 2013 to 2018, he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Management of the College of Regional Development in Prague. His duties included pedagogical, publishing and research activities.

He was a visiting scholar at the University of Technology (UNITECH), Faculty of Management and Social-Humanities, Korolev, Moscow Region, Russia in April 2017. He authored and translated a couple of books and has published numerous scholarly articles. His research interests include management, human resource management, business administration, public administration, higher education, labor market and regional development.
