Dr. Stefano Cavagnetto has held numerous senior leadership roles in academic administration throughout a distinguished international career. In recognition of his sustained and significant contributions to both academia and industry, Dr. Cavagnetto was appointed Honorary Professor at Teesside University (UK) from 2022 to 2025. He served as Academic Director of the Teesside University Prague City Study Centre and previously as Pro Rector for Teaching, Research, and Engagement at Prague City University. For more than a decade, he was Dean of the School of Business at Prague City University, and earlier held the position of Dean of the Schools of Business and Computing at Prague College. Beyond his academic appointments, he has delivered professional and executive-level courses for a range of organizations, including the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, as well as industry, communications, and professional training programs at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Dr. Cavagnetto holds a PhDr. in Philosophy from the University of Eastern Piedmont “Amedeo Avogadro” (Italy) and has served as a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in New York City. Following his relocation to Prague, he specialized in Mathematical Logic and Computational Complexity Theory at the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, and subsequently earned a Ph.D. in Mathematical Logic from Charles University. He has also been a Visiting Scholar and Fellow at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences, University of Cambridge, UK. His research and publications span mathematics, theoretical philosophy, ethics, financial economics, and strategy. Dr. Cavagnetto is also the author of two university-level textbooks for undergraduate and postgraduate students, addressing natural deduction, the formalization of natural languages, and mathematical logic. His latest interests revolve around contemporary developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and communication. In recent years, his work has increasingly focused on disinformation, grounded in the theory of reflexive management, examining its evolution and impact on digital societies. He has recently completed a specialized training program on Disinformation and Cognitive Warfare at the Gino Germani Institute of Social Sciences and Strategic Studies in Rome, a highly respected Think Tank in the fields of intelligence and national security.
