Beatriz Bacarizo Herrer

I was born in Zaragoza, Spain and I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting from Universidad de Granada, specializing in French and German. After working as a Spanish Language Assistant in France, I continued my teaching career in the Czech Republic, where I spent six years teaching Spanish in language schools, at the Instituto Cervantes in Prague as an official DELE examiner too. I also worked as a Spanish lecturer in higher education from 2022 to 2024 at University of New York in Prague (UNYP) and at Anglo-American University. During this period, I completed a Master’s degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education at Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo. In the 2024–2025 academic year, I served as a Spanish lecturer at the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, Vietnam, as part of the MAEC-AECID Lectorship Programme. Since returning to Prague in 2026, I remain actively involved in teacher training and professional conferences, with academic interests in pragmatics, cognitive grammar, and gamification.
