Sean Martin McAlorum

Sean McAlorum is a creative leader, art director, and design educator with over 30 years of industry and academic experience.   He brings a wealth of expertise in publishing, advertising, and editorial design to UNYP, where he teaches Brand Management and Introduction to Advertising. Over his distinguished career, Sean has led award-winning campaigns for top global agencies like Leo Burnett, served as an international advertising jury member, and developed accredited university degree programmes. Alongside his commercial work, he maintains an active contemporary art practice that blends conceptual thinking with visual storytelling. Sean holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Leeds Metropolitan University and an MA in Fine Art with Merit from Teesside University, bringing a powerful balance of academic rigor, creative vision, and real-world industry links to the classroom.
