In Recognition of Service and Support: UNYP at Vyskov’s Military Academy

On May 27, 2025, the Czech Armed Forces welcomed UNYP to a special recognition event at the Military Academy in Vyškov, hosted by General Karel Řehka, Chief of the General Staff.

The occasion celebrated employers who support members of the Active Reserves—a vital connection between civil institutions and national defense. We are deeply grateful to have been invited and sincerely thank the Czech Army for opening its doors to UNYP for such an insightful and memorable day.

UNYP was proudly represented by Dr. David Anthony Procházka, Dean of the School of Business and IT (and an Active Reservist at Cyber and Information Warfare Command), alongside Clark Steele, Director of Marketing. Their participation underscored our university’s commitment to civic responsibility and support for those who serve both in uniform and in education.

The day featured military demonstrations, discussions with senior defense leaders, and a powerful affirmation of the role employers play in strengthening national readiness.
