BIOMORPH: Sculpture Exhibition by Anna Naduda Opens at UNYP

At the University of New York in Prague (UNYP), we are continually working to shape a campus environment that goes beyond academic instruction, one that actively shapes students’ experience.

As part of this ongoing effort, UNYP will host BIOMORPH, a sculpture exhibition by Anna Naduda (Ani Svami), a Ukrainian artist and UNYP lecturer whose work has been exhibited internationally across Europe and beyond.

The exhibition will be installed in and around the UNYP Library, integrating directly into the daily movement of students and faculty. Rather than existing as a separate or formal gallery experience, BIOMORPH is designed to be encountered naturally—on the way to class, during a study break, or in passing moments throughout the day.

Naduda’s work explores the relationship between organic forms, natural structures, and human perception. Her sculptures often draw from biological and environmental patterns, translating them into contemporary forms that invite observation and reflection without requiring prior context or interpretation.

“Projects like this are part of how we think about the campus as a whole,” says Clark Steele, Marketing Director for UNYP. “Not only as a place for structured learning, but as an environment that can generate curiosity and new perspectives in subtle, everyday ways.”

The official opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday at 14:30, and it will be open to UNYP students, faculty, employees, and friends.

By bringing practicing artists into the university environment, particularly those who are also part of the academic faculty, UNYP aims to create a more immediate and authentic connection between teaching, creative practice, and student experience.

BIOMORPH reflects this approach: a quiet but intentional addition to campus life that aligns with UNYP’s broader Explore You philosophy—encouraging students to engage not only with their studies, but with the environment around them.
